Bluetooth as a safer technology
Bluetooth promotes safety on several fronts - it is a much lower
energy radiation technology than is cell phone radiation. It allows you
to keep your phone furthur away from your head (though maybe closer to
your kidneys, spleen, etc). It is perhaps the premier hands free
technology too because it is wireless.
It also is becoming more common for cars to be bluetooth enabled.
- Hopefully it won't be a drag to patch your car:)
However since the definitive answer on cell phone radiation is still
out (and it will be until we have some long term data on cell phone
radiation's effects) it is dificult to quantify the effect of the
radiation, though the general estimate is that you are getting only 1%
of radiation from Bluetooth than you would from a cell phone.
